The express service takes the turnaround time down from the usual eight weeks to just four weeks.

Tom McEwen Joins the Zebra Products Herd

Tom McEwen has secured a new sponsorship with well-known equestrian distributors, Zebra Products. Tom will be joining the herd under the brands EGO7 and Cavalleria Toscana.

Talented event rider Tom McEwen has represented Team GB at Pony, Junior, Young Rider and Senior Level with medal winning performances across the board.

He has accomplished two wins in the Under 25 CCI 4 star at Bramham, was long listed for the Rio Olympics and after a 4th spot at Burghley in 2017 on Toledo de Kerser and won Team Gold at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in 2018.

Tom’s 2019 season was incredibly successful, with Figaro Van Het Broekxhof 2nd at his first 5* in Luhmuhlen, Dreamaway II winning the BE Intermediate Championships at Gatcombe, Brookfield Benjamin Bounce 3rd at the seven year old World Championships and Toledo de Kerser winning Pau 5*.

With riding in his blood, Tom has always had a love for horses following in the footsteps of his equestrian parents, Bobby and Ali McEwen. Tom is based on the Princess Royal’s Gatcombe estate with a large team of horses ranging from youngsters through to advanced.

Amerigo has created a new Safety Stirrup, born from the idea of creating a functional accessory that is innovative yet original.

The black tread of the stirrup, equipped with holes and grip finish, has a special scratch-proof treatment. The main arch of the stirrup which is fixed is made in Ergal, a material renowned for its mechanical properties, far superior to all other aluminium alloys.
The green coloured mobile silicone arch of the stirrup allows for a simple release in case of a fall. The upper part of the silicone arch is engaged by a pin built into the fixed side and, during a fall gets easily released and is easily restorable after having been released. No tools are required to restore the stirrup.

New Bucas Sweet-Itch X Light

The new Bucas Sweet-Itch X Light rug is made using the Bucas Sweet-Itch polyester fabric on the upper and an open mesh fabric on the lower part. The specially developed fabric blocks entry of even the smallest of insects.
The upper part of the rug completely shields the areas of the horse that are prone to Sweet Itch. The rug also has the benefit of being light weight for use on warm days as the lower open mesh helps cool the horse by allowing air to circulate.
The Bucas Sweet-Itch X Light also helps in protecting against sun bleaching.
The rug has an extra-long neck that covers the pole and brow of the horse whilst the deep sides help to keep flies away while also allowing the air to circulate around the horse’s legs.
With an adjustable stomach flap, the rug provides all round protection secured with three external surcingles.
