December 2025 saw the end of another fantastic year for Zebra Products, including celebrating our 25th anniversary, Zebra riders accomplishing ever-greater achievements and some fabulous new product launches and collaborations but also saw the end of a golden career.
Some of our regular readers may remember a short film debuted in October courtesy of our friends
at The Saddle Bank, starring our very own Mrs Middleton, Lindsay, and her gorgeous grey gelding, Bouncer, recalling their incredible journey from Irish hunter to BE novice to 4 x winner at Grand Prix Dressage level.
At the grand old age of 19, Bouncer is retiring from competition to enjoy a quieter life, but will be enjoying lots of lovely hacking with Lindsay and Simon around the gorgeous Welsh countryside he is lucky to call home. Dedicated horse manager Alix and assistant horse manager, Charlotte, will continue to keep this superstar in the style and care to which he is accustomed!
Bouncer and Lindsay show that, together, the best partnerships can achieve anything that they set their mind to and inspire us all every day. I am sure you will join us in wishing this gentleman of a horse the happiest and longest retirement with his friends and those who love him most.

These are the key Young Jump Absolute features:

- 16cm maximum height in compliance with FEI rules

The new Young Jump Absolute fetlock boots are designed specifically for young horses but can be used by horses of all ages.
The anatomically shaped double density polyurethane and flexible EVA inserts of the Veredus Young Jump Absolute Olympus boot offers a large protective surface and maximum shock protection for the fetlock. The Aerox breathable neoprene padding ensures climate controlled comfort, whilst the double Velcro closure guarantees exceptional security.
Designed specifically for show jumping, the Veredus Young Jump Absolute Carbon Gel boots are exceptionally durable and lightweight. They offer high resistance to strike impacts, especially in the internal area of the fetlock, which is more exposed to the risk of impact from the shoe of the adjacent leg. Zebra Products, distributor of top European brands, celebrates 25 years in business this month.
The company started trading in September 2000, its name inspired by Kenya where founders Simon and Lindsay Middleton were married.
Before Zebra, Simon was employed selling fruit to supermarkets. However, he had a long-held passion for horses – unlike the rest of his family who were heavily into cycling.
The Middletons initially started Zebra with some clients of Lindsay’s – the Pennys - who enabled it to piggy back on their irrigation business in Lancashire.
“They provided us with a great leg up and without them I’m sure we would have made many more mistakes along the way,” says Simon.
Lindsay, an event rider and coach, squeezed in picking and packing parcels in the early days of the company.
