Young showjumper signed up by Equipe

Up and coming showjumper, Oliver Tuff is now a sponsored Equipe rider and will be using the brand’s EKGO saddle from its carbon line.
Fifteen-year-old Oliver is the son of renowned British showjumper Justin Tuff and is based with him and his mother, Beth at their yard near Totnes in Devon. He has already represented Great Britain as part of the Children’s Team NAF at the Nations Cup.

Irish saddle sales given a leg up

Helen Dempsey from County Kildare has joined the team to help grow the Amerigo & Equipe brand in Ireland.


With a head for sales and a passion for horses, Helen is extremely well placed for the role. Previously a leading sales executive for her family’s successful car dealership, Helen has also worked with top international racing yards as well as the Darley owned Kildangan Stud. She’s also a keen showjumper, HSI level 2 coach and a committee member for the Kildare branch of the Irish Pony Club.

Baby Zebra joins the herd

There has been cause to celebrate in the Zebra Products office recently with the arrival of baby Eva Grace, daughter of Sales Executive, Caroline Douglas.

She was welcomed into the world on Sunday 22 April 2018 weighing 7lb 3oz, and is the first of four Zebra babies due this year.

“It seems like we are creating our very own extended Zebra family,” said Simon Middleton, Managing Director at Zebra Products. ‘We were all delighted to hear the news of Eva Grace’s arrival and are very much looking forward to meeting her.”

Armour your horse with Veredus

Holland hosts Amerigo masterclass

Holland played host to a saddle masterclass from leading Italian saddle brand, Amerigo, on Wednesday 28 March.
Some 150 retailers from the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, visited Van Olst Horses in Den Hant, Holland for the event which included practical demonstrations from dressage riders Charlotte Fry and Anne Van Olst, and jumping displays from Nina Fagerstrom, Marcelle de Kam, Renske Kroeze and Ilonka Kluijtmans.
Peter Menet, Amerigo saddle designer, talked the audience through horse biomechanics and the importance of correctly fitting saddles to ensure that horse and rider can work in balance and harmony with one another. He also showcased Amerigo’s USPs – with its different saddle tree options and panel concepts.
