Cavalor Ice Clay - for Overworked Muscles and Tendons

Cavalor Ice Clay is applied mainly to the legs to relax overworked muscles and tendons and help prevent swelling. Cavalor Ice Clay consists primarily of kaolinite.

This clay is naturally rich in minerals with a high absorption capacity; it purifies and removes excessive synovial fluid from the ankle joints and the other joints and tendons.

The magnesium sulphate in Cavalor Ice Clay stimulates blood circulation and allows muscles to relax. This effect is enhanced by essential oils including arnica and rosemary, both with proven anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

When Peak Performance Counts

Cavalor Peak Performance improves mobility and performance in sport horses by stimulating blood circulation and boosting lymphatic system function.
The supplement is a balanced blend of essential oils and herbal extracts that improve the horse’s alertness and performance. The natural ingredients promote the efficient transport of oxygen through the bloodstream and ensure that toxins are quickly eliminated by the lymphatic system. The result is more energy and faster recovery times. This focus on the lymphatic system makes Cavalor Peak Performance an innovative way to improve a horse’s general condition and stamina and fight fatigue. It also ensures good health, as the lymphatic system is also an important component of the immune system.
Cavalor Peak Performance is the ideal supplement for high performance horses.
A fit horse has sufficient stamina, a strong, supple body and is energetic – qualities that are essential for training and competition.
It is important to make sure that your horse takes in energy corresponding to its needs. Provide sufficient concentrate feed if your horse is in hard work, but no more than necessary. Moreover, do not confuse energy with stamina or temperament. A horse that is exhausted after just fifteen minutes does not have stamina. And “hot” horses can also have too little energy.
If your horse is suddenly tiring much faster or seeming less active then look for what may be the cause.

Keeping Your Horse Replenished

Keeping Your Horse Replenished
The average body temperature of a horse is between 36 and 37 degrees. Under load, the body generates energy, and this energy is then converted into heat.
In order to maintain their body temperature horses and ponies then dissipate the excess heat.
This is done in two ways - once through the lungs and once through the skin by sweating.
Sweating is healthy for your horse as it helps him cool down faster but it is important to replenish your horse's moisture reserves in time to prevent dehydration.
Make sure your horse always has access to fresh drinking water and if needed, give him a supplement such as Cavalor Electrolyte Balance to quickly replenish important building blocks and minerals.
An important consequence of sweating is the loss of large amounts of water and minerals, also known as electrolytes. Electrolytes are various building blocks that are important for many functions in the horse's body.
If this loss is not compensated for, it has a negative effect on performance and can lead to health problems.
Did you know that horses cannot store electrolytes? Therefore, it is important to administer them at the right time.
Especially in the summer, electrolytes should be regularly included in the horse and ponies’ diet, as typically at this time of year the horse sweats more regularly.
Cavalor Electrolyte Balance is available in 800g - £29 and 5kg - £91.50.

First Aid Essential - Cavalor FreeBute Gel

Cavalor FreeBute Gel is an intense gel which can be used for swollen legs, painful joints and sensitive or overworked muscles and tendons.
The externally applied gel is packed with natural ingredients. It contains a unique mixture of eight essential oils, including eucalyptus, lavender and tea tree, which are known for their relaxing, cooling and soothing effects. This makes Cavalor FreeBute Gel the ideal solution for overworked, sensitive or painful muscles and tendons.
When addressing pain, it is not only important to deal with the pain itself, but also to tackle the source. After applying, the gel will first have a pleasant cooling effect, after which it will start to feel warm.  Thanks to the hydrogel, Cavalor FreeBute Gel quickly penetrates the skin, where it has a deep and powerful effect on the underlying tissues. Because it has a positive influence on the blood flow, Cavalor FreeBute Gel can be used to relax sensitive muscles prior to training, but will also help to rid the body of toxins after an intensive workout, therefore preventing muscle stiffness.
The gel can also be used for bruises, injuries and swollen legs to reduce swelling and speed up recovery. On top of that, Cavalor FreeBute Gel is an antiseptic and can sooth pain caused by wounds.
Available in a 200ml tube, priced at around £26.50 and a 2 Litre Jar with Pump, priced at around £195.00.

Supporting the Mares Fertility Cycle

Cavalor Venus is a herbal extract that supports the mare’s cycle and thus alleviates the effects of irregular ovulation. Hormone fluctuations can make mares quite restless and uncomfortable during their complex fertility cycle.
Cavalor Venus ensures a more regular cycle without disruption. It is composed of several natural active ingredients that support metabolism during the cycle, suppress typical heat-related behaviour and promote general relaxation of body and mind.
Just like people, horses experience nervousness. Some horses are more susceptible than others, based on their breeding or rearing, for example. Not all tension is bad.
Horses and humans both need a certain amount of tension to perform to the best of their abilities, but constant pressure or stress increases the likelihood of health problems. Ensure that your horse gets adequate exercise and has a pleasant stable environment and a healthy diet. A horse’s diet can have an enormous influence on nervousness and behaviour.
Some mares respond best to an initial rate of 40ml during the first 4–5 days, after which the dose can be gradually reduced. Results should be noticeable after about 3 weeks.
RRP 500ml £41.50, 2L £107.00

Looking For An Energy Booster?

During short, explosive efforts such as show jumping and cross-country, the horses’ muscles obtain energy mainly from glucose and glycogen.
Starches and sugars are good sources of glucose and provide short, explosive bursts of energy.
This glucose is also broken down again, releasing lactic acid, the amount of which depends on the intensity and duration of the work. Cavalor An Energy Boost provides important nutrients and an extra dose of quick energy before, during, and after intense work to help horses give their best performance and to assist in recovery. Cavalor FlyLess Insect Repellent

Cavalor FlyLess is a highly effective insect repellent spray created to protect horse and rider against horseflies, flies, mosquitoes, ticks and other insects.
The pleasant fragrance will make sure you can enjoy your summer ride in contentment and make sure your horse and pony is relaxed when out in the fields or stabled.
The non-sticky, non-grease formula is gentle on the skin and won’t harm or stain your clothing or gear. Cavalor FlyLess contains Icaridin a repellent molecule registered for both human and horse. Icaridin forms a scented blanket on the skin, disrupting the mechanism that attracts insects to human and animal skin.
