Build your perfect pad using the Mattes configurator. This handy tool allows you to choose from an endless variety of colours, finishes, sheepskin, embellishment and trims to create a truly bespoke saddle pad that ensures you will turn heads for all the right reasons. You can even create a preview of your made to measure pad on five common horse colours to check it will offset their coats prior to ordering! For a top to toe coordinated look, team your AW26-27 custom Mattes pad with a matching head collar, bandages or horse blanket!
Mattes pads are available in square, western square and Eurofit shapes in a host of deluxe finishes, from classic velvet quilt to shimmering sheen and textured effect gimora. Choose from traditional piping or dazzling crystal trim to complete your look. Select your sheepskin trim and colour, then finish your bespoke creation by using the Mattes correction system to make a made to measure fit for your horse.
Mattes pads are designed with the comfort and welfare of the horse in mind, making them the perfect choice for every equestrian and their chosen discipline. They feature an anatomically shaped topline SPINEFREE® clearance area to prevent any pressure points, whilst the quilted design features two layers: POLYFLEX® (a deep-needled needle felt) is used for shape retention and pressure equalisation and polyester wadding for padding.
Mattes products use the finest Australian sheepskin wool fibres, which are naturally breathable and provide good pressure distribution, moisture absorption, airflow, shock absorption, friction reduction and are temperature regulating.

The AW26-27 Mattes range is available in sizes M-XL from RRP £100 for a sheepskin-free pad in a Eurofit shape with single piping. No minimum order quantity, order cut-off date is Wednesday 30th September 2026 for delivery in week 40
