Ben Maher knows that having the right saddle is essential for that winning formula. The Equipe Synergy Special saddle shown here offers style combined with performance. The Synergy Special is moulded around a lightweight synthetic tree, which is incredibly tough and offers a great degree of flexibility and un-restricted movement. A reinforced iron head prevents the tree from spreading when in use, for example over a fence, which in turn would otherwise re-tract after the fence and ‘pinch’ the horse. The trees are available in four different widths and latex memory foam panels allow the saddle to sit securely and comfortably between rider and horse. Equipe Saddles can be made to measure with different shaped panels for a very accurate fit and as they are made of latex and felt they keep their suppleness and don’t deteriorate as quickly as other traditional panel fillings.
The saddle flaps have extra padding and stitch detailing that give an ultra soft, finish and very expensive look – but at an affordable price. The hugely fashionable mono flap is the choice of Ben Maher – but double flaps are available in short, normal, long and extra long. Three different seat sizes 16.5, 17 and 17.5 are available and optional finishes including Calfskin with printed leather, which offers added ‘grip’ or Classic.
All styles feature seat and knee rolls in calfskin for the ultimate in style and performance.
