What a day! Did you make it along to the Sprenger seminar held on September 3rd? The Zebra Products team hit the road for our seminar venue, the lovely Spicer Manor in Sheffield, where we were delighted to host 20 enthusiastic customers, all keen to further their knowledge of all things bitting.
The day commenced with a technical presentation from Sprenger sales manager and bitting supremo Heiko Koch, who joined us from Sprenger HQ in Germany to share his encyclopaedic knowledge. Between Heiko and UK Sprenger Bitting Expert, Lindsay Middleton, the level of expertise available to our delegates on the day was unsurpassed!
The horse’s mouth is very sensitive, so the importance of a well-fitted bit cannot be understated. A correct fit avoids pressure points, chafing and allows the horse to chew naturally, creating a harmonious experience. With over 150 years of heritage and knowledge, Sprenger bits offer a multitude of solutions for every bitting query. Handcrafted in Germany, verified by scientific research and lauded by riders worldwide, Becky Moody, Laura Collet, Lottie Fry, Carl Hester and Michael Eilberg all choose Sprenger to deliver world-class performances.
After lunch, the delegates headed to Becky Moody’s yard to see the 2026 Zen Elite FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix winner in action! Fresh from her team silver win in Aachen, Becky and Bomb showed us their very best moves and Becky explained why she always chooses Sprenger for her horses, whilst Heiko explained how different Sprenger bits and technologies work for each and every equine, from Becky’s Olympians to the happiest hacker.
Becky says that whilst a bit cannot be a substitute for training, choosing the correct bit can support in ensuring that the rider can get the very best results from training-Sprenger’s extensive range offers the perfect solution for any horse and rider.
A fabulous day was had by all, a massive thank you to everybody who came along and made the day such a success and most of all, to Becky and her team for hosting us!
